Wow, thank you for sharing that Bobby. It means a lot that you would feel that way even though we probably would disagree on a lot of issues as I lean more to the left. Really, though, that’s an assumption and I try not to get too caught up in political labels as everyone’s perspective is unique.

I’m convinced that systemic racism has served one primary purpose in American history: that is to divide working class people to keep them from uniting and uprising against the ruling class. I wholeheartedly agree that we have more in common than what divides us, and once enough of us come to realize that we will become a force to be reckoned with. And that terrifies the ruling class, so they keep coming up with new ways to divide us.

Hopefully conversations like these will bring us one step closer towards uniting for justice, freedom, and opportunity for all.
