I agree. The problem here is that people in the Evangelical church define “love” as whatever THEY think will save people from Hell in the afterlife—even if it subjects them to a living hell on Earth.

The truth is that the Bible can’t tell us what it looks like, exactly, to love our neighbor.

To know that, we have to ask our neighbors what their needs are.
