Respectfully, I have met several self-hating and racist Black people. Candace Owens appears to me to be one of them. While I agree that anyone can be prejudiced, I think Black people can also be just as culpable for upholding racist systems and ideologies as White people--of course, the are far less likely to for obvious reasons, but that doesn't mean they are immune to it. I would argue that my ill-informed upbringing was a product of systemic racism, and therefore racist ideology became part of who I was--until I unlearned those toxic beliefs on my journey to becoming anti-racist.

"Racist" is a loaded term, I know, but I hope the essence of my sentiments comes through in my perspective. Thank you for sharing yours.
