Thank you for your response! I agree — White, Black, or other, we can all do better to make the most of opportunities that we are afforded. As you and I both know, there are a lot of other factors that inhibit Black progress though. Some people are still simply clueless about what systemic racism is and how it manifests, especially within the justice system. Hopefully, through conversations like these more people will become aware.
