I am also concerned that an over-fixation on "elite" examples of racism (like what Oprah experienced), have sucked the air out of the room, while more prevalent and life-threatening examples fall to the wayside.
Racism at all levels deserves to be addressed, but those Black people with the biggest platforms (read: most privileged) seem to shape public discourse on race around their own personal grievances (which may or may not be directly related to their race), while more systemic and urgent issues facing poorer populations are de-prioritized.
